Offline | Sorry it's taken me so long to post these up Back in June after we had been to MINI United the KAES MINI Club travelled through the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France & Monaco on a trip called 'Monte Carlo or Bust'. It was an incredible adventure taking in some of the best scenery and roads on offer, here are some photos: ![]() We were privileged to have Quack Quack Jack join us in my R56 Cooper S for the trip. He had prime position in the middle, apart from on the mountain roads where my passenger decided they needed something to hold on to ![]() ![]() On an unlimited section of an empty German Autobahn ![]() St Gotthard Pass ![]() Jack is joined by his new friends on the St Gotthard Pass ![]() Jack helps apply the MINI United sticker ![]() ![]() We went down the old St Gotthard Pass, it was well worth it ![]() ![]() Going into the famous tunnel in Monte-Carlo ![]() MINI outside Casino Monte-Carlo ![]() Jack jumps onboard ![]() Approaching the Verdon Gorge ![]() Lac Ste Croix - Verdon Gorge ![]() Col De Turini ![]() My Cooper S alongside a Ferrari F430 ![]() ![]() Jack gets a well deserved meal ![]() More photos of the trip in my flickr account here More photos of Quack Quack Jack in my sisters flickr account here Last edited by MINIAC : Aug 7th, 2007 at 04:33 PM. Offline | lol thanks, no probs ![]() The Gotthard Pass is brilliant - we've driven down the new and old pass, make sure you go on the old one called 'Val Tremola' (Valley of the Trembling) it's a cobbled road with hairpins all the way down. Open your windows play 'On Days Like These' from the Italian Job full blast and enjoy it ![]() |
