Offline | My other half has a new MX-5 so I like the idea of a convertible - but that doesn't come with an automatic box (in the UK). I looked at a Vauxhall Tigra because my husband can get mega bucks off these through work ... but err no. Then took a Mini for a test drive on Saturday and two hours later placed my order. I've always liked the Mini (including the pre-BMW ones) ... although my husband (much much older than me) recalls driving 997 Coopers and 1275GT before I was born ;-) I ordered a Cooper Convertible Automatic Chilli in BRG. Specified cruise, heated seats, mirrors and windscreen, sports suspension, climate control, DSC and other toys. Kept to the black hood ... the green one looked ... well too green. My Mini adventure should begin towards the end of September. Can't wait ... |
