A NAM poster asked whether the Oxford factory was taking a two-week holiday in August. No one seemed to know the answer on our side of the pond, so I told him I'd write and see if any of you know.

This year there is no "shut Down" as we have new systems in place that are close to running full speed and the amount of minis were turning out at present is pretty awesome. the factory only shuts down for maintenance issues or upgrades, but this year as everything has been done there is no need for one.

Thank you and GR31NIE for your information. Is there any sense of how production of the Clubman after it's released for sale in the UK will affect the capacity for R56 production? We weren't sure over here whether R56 wait times might increase somewhat because of that.

I emailed to Plant Oxford and they weren't very forthcoming about dates other than it
is closed to tours while being set up for the Clubman. Suggested maybe o.k. October
November timeframe.
