Something different... A New Mini Trailer!

Just thought you guys might like to see what our club has been up to for the past 5 months

This MINI started life as a Hyperblue 55 reg MINI One convertible. It had just 272 miles on the clock when it was written off, but I'm happy to say we've given it a new lease of life!

Maybe for the classics, but as far as we know nobody else in the UK has done a new MINI yet

I'll try and get some later when the car gets back, but I had to import the tow bar from the US, then we had a draw bar made up at a local engineering place. It works really well, and my other half says he doesn't even feel the trailer. The wiring was probably the worst bit!

Yeah we do, but we kinda ran out of money, and the S Spokes work perfectly well for now.

Quite interested for my S but if the towbar does not have EU approval where do you stand in the event of an accident etc ?

Ha! Never seen that thread. We started back in March, and we did find those photo's about a month ago which disheartened some of us a little, but ours looks very different so it's all good
