Offline | Seems like a bit of a 'just bitten a lemon' response Sure you don't know the other drivers but is that a reason to be less friendly? Personally I find driving the Mini makes me smile so much I (nearly) want to smile and wave at everyone. Don't see why acknowledging others who made the same choice of car should be lame. Surely you wave back? anything else is just rude ![]() Mini: Drive and feel alive. |

Offline | When my i was driving my classic Mini on a daily basis every other mini waved. without fail. When I got the MCS i started waving at other MINIs, I think in 9 months of driving it I've had less than ten responses, and never has anyone else initiated a wave! |

| 05 MCS BEP | Very few (though a few do) return waves. I almost always wave but am surprised when another MINI waves to me first. But this week there was somebody in a really old British car that flashed his headlights and waved to me. Caught me totally by surprise. 05MCS BEP - Alta 22mm rear anti-swaybar, Madness CAI, Alta 15%, NGK BRK7EIX |

Offline | Here's a thing I do also. When I'm in a shopping center looking for a parking spot, I'll go out of my way to park next to another Mini --- as if it needs somebody to talk to... And as I walk away, I turn to look at my car and his new friend; I admire the two of them sitting there. Little objects d'art. Rec needs more than a wave. Group hug time. We are a brotherhood, Rec. Like it or not, you're family. Safety fast, Bill |

Offline | I wave- I've noticed so many more MINIs this month, yet very few wave. I almost go out of my way to wave at a fellow MINI owner. Seeing another MINI makes me feel like I'm part of a secret society of coolness.. It just makes me smile seeing another MINI... please wave back ![]() |

Offline | Wavers!! I drive a yellow mini with black strips and I tend to wave at like minded yellow mini lovers and they seem to wave back. ![]() I also have my regular lady in a yellow mini that passes me everyday to work. She is a regular waver!! I think we should start the trend up again, I feel I am neglecting the Mini Waver Club! ![]() |

Offline | I wave and locally i get about a 50% reply. I have just spent a week in Wales and have waved at about 25 MINIs and not had one response. Is it a Wales thing? Or is it the people visiting Wales like me ![]() ![]() |

| MINI2 Senior | Today I parked my car and nipped into the shop for a paper, the car park was relatively empty and there were spaces either side of my car, I came out and there was a park lane and a cooper either side of my car so I think a few people do it. The worst thing was I actually got excited about it ![]() |

Offline | Yep! Thats the MINI parking ettiquite. One time I parked in a almost abandoned carpark in Chichester and when I returned there was a little MINI convertible parked next to me with loads of free spaces everywhere else. Made me smile and get very excited! I normally try to park next to a MINI if its safe too! |

Offline | I used to wave at other Minis but now I've given up due to most people in the Manchester/Blackburn area not waving back, one person looks away!!! I'm getting a new one tomorrow so I think I try again so any one going between Rochdale and Accrington at 8.30 weekday mornings better prepare themsleves for being flashed!!! If you don't wave back your names vil be taken....! Re the carpark thing, I totally do that!! I always try and park near another Mini so it can compare notes on their owners, |
