Hi, I posted yesterday regarding buying a 05 black MCS CAT D stolen and recovered Mini. I am having it inspected at Autolign before handing over the money. My intention is to keep the car forever and in my head have no plans to sell it on, however we all cant predict the future and one day I might have to. So what I am after is peoples experience in selling CAT D cars, are they a night mare to sell on or is their a market for them out there. Like I mentioned AUTOLIGN are inspecting tomorrow which are commissioned by HPI Ltd to remove the condtion alert off the HPI check to condition inspected, surely this would help sell it on if verified by 1 of only 2 approved inspection houses by HPI Ltd.

Your thoughts and experiences on this matter would be appreciated.

There is a market ... my bro has a cat D MG ZR 1.4 and they are selling like hotcakes. But its very car/model dependant and also don't expect to sell for good money! ... but then if you bought it dirt cheap thats not an issue
