| MINI2 Regular | Am I too fussy ? Hi, I have been abscent from owning a Mini for nearly 3 years and now I am back in a position to buy another one. However it has to be the right spec but I just cant find one am I being too fussy. I have a £9.5 - £10k budget and the spec I am after is as follows : MCS Miles range upto 30k Colour black Tinted windows 17" alloys Chili pack Pan. Roof Minimum aero side skirts, full kit would be nice or colour coded arches etc. Pref. 1 lady owner ![]() Immaculate HPI Clear - NO CAT D'S (read my previous posts) STEER CLEAR ?????? If you know of anyone selling a MCS as close to the above spec please contact me. I live in Leicestershire, so close to home would be nice. Thanks Nick |

Offline | There are cars out there, but the more pre-requisites you add, the harder it will be to find the car you want.... For example... a quick search of the pistonheads classifieds found this car, although this doesn't have the sun roof, and the miles are higher than what you want, although not overly high for the vehicle. ![]() |

Offline | When buying used it is important to get the spec as close to what you'd have chosen if buying new, although some compromise is needed occasionally. Spec is within reach but aero skirts are not standard (as you know), and sub 30k on the clock may be difficult. Don't forget a car 3 yr old car with 5k on the clock may be more trouble than a 3yr old car with 40k. As for one lady owner, my experience tells me that this is not a good thing. Have bought a few, all of which have been neglected, and caused me big problems. Sorry ladies! ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | Hi, thanks for all your replies. I know I am probably asking for too much and of course will compromise if necessary. So I suppose it is just a matter of keep looking and hope the right car with the right spec comes along, as obviouosly they are out there. Thanks again much appreciated Nick |

Offline | You can always pick up factory 17" from the local dealers after you've found the car you want. You'd be surprise on how many they have just sitting around from people upgrading to other wheels. I'm picking up one 17" S-lite as a spare for less than half the price of a new one. Besides, women tend to scrape the curb often. Sorry ladies... ——g |
