Online | New JCW MCS Owner Hi Everyone, New JCW MCS owner here, Exactly 1 month and 2000 miles into owning a 2003 MCS JCW in Dark Silver/Black Roof and loving every mile Picked up a bargian (imho) MCS from Westerly in Exeter which is fully loaded 03 MCS Dark Silver/Black Roof AC Schnitzer 17"s AC Schnitzer Interior (handbrake, gear shift pedal and mats) Aero Kit JCW Engine Mods (200bhp I think) Sat Nav Harmon Kardon Stereo MD Boost HU CD Changer Parking Sensors MFSW Full Leather JCW Seats Clear Rear Lights Aux Guages This is my first non Ford Car (please don't hold it against me) after years of running old escorts I decided it was time for a change and with Ford not having anything comparable and lousey customers service the search for a MCS began. As mentioned I'm a long term ford loony and have been very involved in the UK ford scene, my other car is a 92 XR3i Track Car that I've been running at Castle Combe for the last 5 years with great success. Cars had a few magazine appearances over the years. Still very much a work in progress it's currently running 1.8 Zetec with Suzuki GSXR 600 Throttle Bodies and Megasquirt Engine Management. MINI appreciation is growing fast and I hope to be more of a regular on here now I've found it ![]() PS Pics to come once I hit the magic 5 posts limit ![]() |

Offline | You can have it upgraded to the 210 by your dealer. Think the cost is around the £300 mark from memory? I'll try and find my options booklet now and have a look... Regards, James. |

Offline | Not being a MCS owner, I'm not sure to be honest. I dont know for sure what changes were made between the two kits, something like ECU, airbox and either injectors or plugs are different from memory?? Being a 2003 and no doubt out of warranty, £300 might buy more bang for bucks though. Regards, James. |
