I was just wondering what upgrades you have made that are non BMW spec'd.Cheers What little modifications have you made to improve on the original item? Just liitle bits that BMW forgot or dismissed???????? Last edited by GAX857W : Sep 26th, 2007 at 11:30 AM. |

![]() Some have THICK skins!!!! | depends what model you are getting for me it was ripping out the awful MINI sound system and replacing it with a much better after market one. Can't do that with the R56 though ![]() Whalen shift knob is very high on my list of things I wouldn't do without either. ![]() |

Offline | Love my Whalen for both it's wonderful workmanship, and the improvement it made to the gear changes. Also love my soundkit, the exhaust note is great. ![]() MODERN MINI OSCARS 2008 - BEST COOPER NOMINEE |

| MINI2 Regular | I was thinking smaller than that. I recently had a suzuki swift as a pool car and the boot cover did not lift when you opened the hatch. I rectified this Thats the sort of thing I am thinking about rather than additional factory mods and options. |

Offline | Ah see what you mean. The Whalen is an aftermarket item and is a definite improvement on the original. As for along the lines you mean, I'll have a think. Dismantled the interior of my previous MINI and put it back together properly to eliminate rattles/squeeks. Can't think of anything on this one. ![]() MODERN MINI OSCARS 2008 - BEST COOPER NOMINEE |
