Offline | Not allowed to drive Just wondering whats the longest period of time that you haven't been able to drive for? And I don't mean say the time you go on holiday or away on business, as I've done that for 8 months. What I mean is that you can see you lovely MINI outside, and you have been told you are not allowed to drive. As I have been told I won't be able to drive for at least a week due to having an operation, and its only been the first day and already I am seriously missing driving my MINI ![]() Don't know how I will last a whole week. The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | With me it is fairly consitant that the MINI sits all on its own for 4 or 5 days, it is hard. Can you still drink, at least that might take your mind off a stationary GP. Does it mean you will be giving some TLC with the wash mitt and hover etc get well soon |

![]() MINI2 Slave | I don't think even an operation could stop Rakey from drinking. ![]() Well, I passed my test when I was 17 and drove my parents' car until I was 18 and went to university. I then didn't drive for four years as I had no need for a car at university and was no longer insured on my parents' car. Doesn't mean I didn't miss it though. ![]() |

Offline | Probably no longer than a couple of weeks and that's when I've been away on holiday, it's unusual for me not to drive ![]() When I was 17 and had only been driving a few months I aquaplaned into a wall and nearly wrote off my Fiat Panda (one of the original ones ) and the garage took about 3 months to fix it so that must be the longest I've ever not driven.![]() |

Offline | I had to be taken to the hospital last year for an emergency procedure, and couldn't drive my MINI for just over a week due to medications. The worst part is that I had just gotten him back from having JCW bits fitted the night before. And my dear wife drove it, and thought she had broken it when the JCW airflap opened up. ![]() ![]() www.MINICalgary.com |

Offline | My MINI is looking very sad outside now where it has been sitting for 6 days, lots of leaves on her, and I really can't wait until I can move my leg properly and can have a drive again, really missed driving and the freedom, as I'm having to rely on people giving me lifts everywhere as I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |
