On my way to work this morning and a large piece of brick shot out from between a tipper trucks tyres and hit the bonnet.

Suppose it could have come through the windscreen and hit me in the face but still not happy

I'd be pretty gutted too

But by what its done to the bonnet you were very lucky it didnt come through the windscreen

And it was only last night you were saying about a dent in your brother in laws MINI Bonnet!

Makes dave's dent look small now

Looks like the decal has minimized the paint damage.

Yep, a brick in the face would not be to pleasant but the cosmetic damage might not be so obvious

Afraid not, it was actually traveling in the other direction, my eyes kind of fixed on the brick as I saw it coming but had no way to avoid it.

like the others have said though, main thing is it didn't go through the windscreen and hit you (or someone on a motorbike

Outch..That looks like an insurance job. Bonnet? certainly a full bonnet spray and alot of hammering. £300 if you are lucky?
