Offline | tis what i thought, must be 240kph, but the engineer defiantly said mph, i asked him again, kept repeating myself and he said 100% mph, so you guys will just have to find out, don't think its possible but would be amazing if it is! The car is something else a new gear box has been made for it as the old/now cooper s gearbox would be ripped to shreds, this one is toughened and strengthened. there will not be an automatic version as it just would be possible as the car would wreck the gearbox in 5th and well what more can I say the car is awesome! |

| MINI2 Master | No MINI.............................in fact no car less than £200k will hit that kind of speed. Let alone one shaped like a brick !. It will defonately be KPH and as rumoured will be around 212bhp which will add up to around 150mph. The gearbox may have revised / strengthened internals, but i doubt it. Auto gearboxes are on the whole stronger units than manuals, so if they are dropping this option, i think it's more likely to be down to perceived market branding rather than technical limitations of the hardware. Offline | Also consider that most BMW's are limited at 147mph, so why make a MINI that goes faster ![]() Oh but the car does exist now, I will back that info up ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |
