Hi everybody,i am newbie here,so greetings to you all.I am a mechanic here in Kent,UK,and in my new job(car supermarket),i have recently got to work on a few Mini Coopers of late.Got too love the look and the interior and the drive and personality of them.However last week i worked on my first Mini Cooper S and subsequently me first test drive of one..........WOW,WOW,WOW,WOW.

I am totally hooked and now utterly obsessed about owning one in the near future.I have spent the last few days buying mags on the internet and anything else i can find about them(damn i hate these obsessions).Funds are only at £7k at the moment so will have to keep saving and hopefully pick one up in the next few months.Would appreciate any valued info in my quest in searching for this model to purchase,ie what should i be looking out for etc etc.Will now be working through the forum now to pick up some interesting stuff.Great site.

Thanks Mike,coincidence that,just been (hour ago)speaking to my Ex pat friend who lives in Perth(7 years now).Everytime i get off the phone i want to head straight to the airport and buy a 1 way ticket there.Any good deals on Mini Cooper S's over there
