Well I definately have a power steering fan. I've still not actually seen it, but early last summer, my A/C started acting up. Turn it on, and it would blow cold, often for a long time, then get all warm and damp, and the A/C indicator light on the button would flash.

After this happened a few times, we realized it was quitting only when the car was stopped at a light. This made me suspect a fan, so I checked every fuse that had anything to do with A/C or fans.

Ended up taking it to the dealer, and they changed a fuse for the power steering. Turns out the power steering fan affects the Air Conditioning. Of course, I would not have suspected this, as the power steering was working just fine. I would have noticed if I was parking around town with manual steering.

Anyway, they figured it got clogged with some snow, blew the fuse, and none of it mattered until it got warmer. I'm still not sure what this fan has to do with the A/C if some cars were built with out it.
