just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who has donated so far. As can be seen on my signature i am now well on my way to acheiving my target thanks to the amazing generosity of Mini2'ers who have donated over £300 in the last week.

However we need to keep the momentum going & don't forget all contributions are matched by my employers so the more you give, the more they give

Great news Hat!

You know, you could always stay in a pup tent and avoid the costs of the hotel. This would lower your travel expenses tremendously...

thanks again to some hugely generous people in cork & i'm now only £300 away from my target. It would be great to get over the target so keep it coming folks - the more i raise the more my employers have to stump up

I would have used most of a tank over the weekend with all of the driving, plus it's for a very worthy cause. So, you're very welcome Pat.

following this weekend's very succesfull run, i can reveal total donations from Mini2 members now stands at £755

A huge thanks to everyone for an amazingly generous response. But let's not stop there. it would be great to get to a £2000 total before the trip, & don't forget this will be matched by my employers - so keep it coming!

not long to go now - 3 days & i'll be on my way. i've spoken with some people here at work who went last week & they had a great time although physical labour in temperatures in excess of 100 degrees is not easy

Can you also speak with your wife and tell her to get her butt over to the Ball too - don't worry, I'll take on the duty of chaperone - the temperature in certain parts of the Marriott on Saturday night is also tipped to get to 100 degrees.
