| A 'cheap set of R90s' - sorry but you had better consider another kind of wheel. £400 will get you a set that requires tyres and major refurb work without doubt. Bear in mind they are £1800 new, so £6-900 buys you good wheels that may or may not need tyres, £400 buys you a set of dogs. I bought a set and had them refurbished (about £350 to have them split, painted, polished and lacquered)... Best of luck... Jon |

| just a thought; you did actually have a "cheap" set of R90's, but you realised how much they would be to turn them into "good" R90s so you sold them didnt you? what im saying is; there is no such thing as a useable, cheap set of R90s. |

| I also had those Ruotecompany R90 replicas from Italy. They looked the business but in the cold weather the salt on the roads corroded the finish slightly. See this photo http://www.mini2.com/galleries/showp...6/ppuser/15024 They cost me with tyres about £650 all told. They were lovely wheels but I fancy the anthracite ones now! ![]() |

, Yes the irony, !! I was young unwise back then!! ![]() At the time I couldn't afford £450 back then, hence why I said they were over priced!! (compared to my budget!!) Blimmy chaps you guys are good!! I did just sell a set of R90s on ebay - correct!! I am now looking for some wheels which I will be able to fit straight onto the car, instead of having to refurb those 3 wheels (to the same standard as the brand new one which i have also bought!) This will be around £150 to do. I will then have to put the pirelli tyres which I have already, on to the wheels costing more. I will then have o balance and fit the wheels etc... I thought that it maybe easier to buy a set from here or a set of new replicas from somewhere but I'm having no luck!! Merrrk- Guess you didn't want the tyres in the end? David- Thanks for the offer on the wheels however I thought that I would let the auction run!! KEL |
