Red Cooper Which is the biggest MINI dealer.

Hey everyone, does anyone know which MINI dealership in the UK is the biggest and best.

Because i live just about 5 minutes away from my favorite dealer, Halliwell jones chester MINI.
Its fantastic its 2 stories high, got a big lift, has about 50 used and new MINIs outside, and 13 can be put inside.

Now ive been to many MNI dealers and thereve all kinda been nice but normal, but at HJ chester, its sooooooo nice, they arange great launch events and runs, plus ALL the staff are really nice and kind too.

I heard that MINI park Lane is the largest MINI dealer in the UK. Its got a basement that goes on for miles supposedly. People from all over the world go there to see it?! Thats what my dealer said when I bought my MINI from the Cherished section of Park Lane.

Do you work for Halliwell Jones MINI? As it seems like a big advert for them!

Seriously if you are happy with your dealer then I think it is always good to see!

The big problem with Halliwell Jones in Chester is that there is no service there . You have to drive about 5 miles into the centre of Chester. Unfortunately you then become 'just a Mini' driver at a large BMW showroom .
I choose instead the exceptional service at Woodmans in Blackpool - even if it is a 120 mile round trip!

Anyone got any pictures of the huge Park Lane?

Welcome to MINI Park Lane authorised MINI dealership

There are some pics in the dealer gallery. It is a big showroom, and they display the JCWorks parts nicely out the back with a JCW car in that part of the showroom fully kitted out (or they did when I went!)

Downstairs is also pretty cool, as they have actual MINI roof's with the graphics on

The main PL is only new car sales though, they have a separate place for servicing and Cherished car sales.

Ignored by the sales staff though .... that never happens to me @ Stevenage

Now the MINI showrooms are having to transfer to stand alone dealerships, they are getting some really funky buildings and design, i like it

Speaking of which, not a huge showroom, though bigger and better than the old one (8 cars inside compared to 4!!)...this is Specialist Cars in Stevenage

Our Mini was originally ordered thru Park Lane, and I've heard before they're biiiig, but we got it secondhand, sorry, cherished, from a dealer in Surrey - they've only got room in their showroom for about 4 cars maximum. Manchester to Surrey and back - and worth the trip.
Cooper Tadworth - small but perfectly formed

Who's local dealer is the smallest?

Lovetts in Bristol have a new 4million pound show room - it might not be the biggest despite being pretty huge but worth a mention. It does have a full workshop and spares department as well as a showroom that easily fits in 12 cars and a collection area

My local dealership isn't the biggest, but I think they can fit 8 MINI's inside (off the top my head) and is built on the same land as the BMW showroom, sadly the parts and workshop etc are in the BMW Showroom.

Where they were before (above is a new build) MINI was like an add on to the build and looked very cheap because the roof was showing etc, and was only big enough for 4 MINI's.

Scotthalls Southampton was tiny 2 cars if you were lucky, a add onto the impressive building that is the BMW showroom, Now they have built a much better showroom in the old carpark but still small compared to some.

I bought my MINI from Cherished Park Lane and they must have squeezed 20 odd Parklanes (not including my one which was hidden round the back) in 3 long lanes along the width of the dealership it was very cool. They have a large showroom just for the Cherished. They had roof decals on their desks thought that was very cool too! Cool to see such a large dealership.

I would like to vote for D!ck Lovett in Hungerford. Their showroom has a capacity for 5 cars - or 6 if they remove the drinks bar.

They make you feel very much at ease while they are lightening your wallet.
