Offline | Hi All, Does anyone have an idea as to how much the body coloured interior costs as a retro fit, or is it cheaper to get original bits sprayed up. Is there any companies out there that do it? Tal. |

Offline | I had the 3 parts of my facelift MCS dash sprayed in hyper blue and it cost around £45 Vs the new parts that would have come to around £180 from BMW. The door elipses are a much bigger problem as they are not meant to be removed from the doors, so I've never been brave enough to try it. The sprayer quoted me £100 to spray the parts, if I removed and refitted them Vs £400 for the two complete door panels from BMW. ![]() May 08: Thanks to all of my friends on Mini2 for a lot of great times over the last 4 years. Offline | The paint job is holding up just fine and the finish is just the same as the factory original would have been. It certainly stands up to close inspection much better than the "Alloy Patina" finish which, if you look at it very closely, is actually just a low resolution print ![]() Here's picture: ![]() May 08: Thanks to all of my friends on Mini2 for a lot of great times over the last 4 years. Offline | I removed all three dash panels and delivered them to the sprayers; they supplied the paint and did the spraying, I then collected them and refitted the panels. I'd love to door the doors as well but the elipses are "welded" into place and I could remove them, get them sprayed, yet never be able to refit them! Like you say, I just need the bottle to get stuck in! ![]() ![]() May 08: Thanks to all of my friends on Mini2 for a lot of great times over the last 4 years.
