Saw a number of Police cars in Chester busy doing this today. They were about a couple of weeks ago too. They are also doing people for unreadable/dirty number plates.

ahh but the problem is not the software sometimes the software can handle it but if the picture quality is not good then what can it do.....garbage in garbage out etc

I even have problems sometimes working out what peoples plates are with wierd fonts or spacings so imagine a system which is handling many thousands a day

Perhaps it's time the British took hold of the matter and circulated the phrase with corrected grammar.

Nope. Brett only uses his Black and Silver plates for shows. It's a different member, he has the Mini logo on the side of the plate, and the club web address underneath, so the actual Reg letters and numbers are slightly smaller than legal.
