Have you noticed Tesco are starting to sell 97 RON?

The last two fills I have done at Tesco recently in Redditch and Loughborough have only sold Tesco Super 97 RON fuel not the usual 99. Are Tesco making a change to 97 RON?

Why do some garrages seem to sell 97 whilst others sell 99?

Thanks

Roadrunner

mine has sold it for a while, they have some pumps with 99 and some with 97, most with 95 obviously.

not sure if they're changing, i bet the 97 is a half and half mix of 99 and 95!!! haha!

we should count ourselves lucky, i was in the states recently and my uncles porsche caymen is being run on 87-89 a shtats their premium!!!

I bet a local Shell garage has just closed. My theory is that Tescos only sell 99 when there is a competing Shell garage selling V-Power close by. So...no Shell, no 99 at Tesco.

I lived in the USA for four years and I think it's cheaper to run a car in the UK? I lived in Manhattan, NY and my car insurance was $3000 a year, we had an EZ Pass which was for tolls on bridges and most highways and interstates. And don't forget that you had to travel a lot further to get anywhere!!!

I once drove from NYC to Utah just to ride my bike for a couple of days, it took me three days to drive there!!!

Think Loughborough Tesco has always been 95 and 97 only

When I'm down at parents in Portsmouth, i fill up with 99 Ron then

Not sure why it is not sold in more places as i reckon alot of people would buy it
