Hello,

Sometime last week, I was trawling MINI websites, and I saw somewhere that an official 'soundtrack for MINI driving' audio CD was being made by BMW under I think the EMI Records label, and would be in stores in September. It had lots of groovy tunes on it by groups like Basement Jaxx, and the Crystal Method I think.

I'm fairly certain it was one of the official MINI sites I saw it on too, but I have searched high and low and I cannot find it again! I want to get more details so I can order a copy to play in my S when it arrives

Has anyone seen this CD or know what I'm talking about?

Got this cd at Canadian launch party,doesn't have the artists you mention though.

MINI sent me a little package of fun stuff, guide to enjoying your MINI or some such with suggested speeding excuses, a "this car just delivered, please don't tow" sign and a MINI emergency music CD with 6 songs on it. It doesn't have the artists you mentioned though, so perhaps there is another one coming.

mmmm thanks for the replies so far, but thats not the one - it was a full album with at least 12 tracks, and the if I recall correctly the cover was black and it had a yellow square on the left half with writing in it, and a picture on the right hand side...

I'll keep searching!

Yes , I know what you're talking about. I even saw an advertisment on my telly a couple of days ago (Belgium).

I remember now - it was the mission mini site that I saw it on, but forgot to search there when I tried to find it again.

It seems my description of the cover was slightly inaccurate, but nevermind... and no Crystal Method or Basement Jaxx either... I must have been on drugs that day!
