Offline | I'm really sorry to read your post Mikey. Whilst I don't have a MINI anymore and rarely post, I felt compelled to reply. It's terribly sad to see someone who is always so genuinely helpful and enthusiastic be "squeezed" out. It is also incredibly short-sighted to let Mikey disappear I hope the situation can be resolved to your satisfaction Mikey - but somehow I'm doubting it ![]() |

Offline | I've been a member since 2003 and have read many many many of Mikey's invaluable 8,500 posts and advise. Number of them I have dug up through the search to help me with new installments I have recently wanted to do. Without Mikey advising and suggesting then I think a very complicated section that many don't understand that is ICE will colapse. He is/was our resident expert/adviser/entertainer who corrected wrong advise and would always suggest the best route. I personally will miss all his posts and his pics of the other amazing cars in his workshop. I have bought from your web shop and will not stop recommending you/your website to everyone (even if I'm not allowed to here anymore) I really hope that this thread may have some pressure to the new owners to change and stop this happening but if not... Mikey...... SINCERE THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK FOR 6 YEARS. I'll be on those forums if I need your help! Don't be a stranger! ![]() |

| Remember | Holy ****!!! ![]() I knew things were not good, but this is terrible news ![]() Mikey isn't just a sponsor, he is supporter of the car and the site, he is an innovator, he brings us products, advice and great prices that no other can or has ever done on this site, and now the site changes and doesn't listen to one of its most valuable assets? I knew the heart and sole of the place wasn't here any longer, but its seems that brain death has now kicked into MINI2 as it certainly isn't thinking straight if it is making its number one user feel like his support and opinion is no longer valued ![]() Mikey, if this isn't resolved, and you go elsewhere other than a rather good Irish MINI forum I know, please be sure to let me know, as there is no-one else mate that I would trust to get advice and MINI ICE items from ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | So where is the defence from the website owners? 46 posts so far and no reaction. Says it all in my book. I have valued mikeys contribution and drove to Formby to get him to do something on my car because I was convinced he is the best. This is really bad news. |

| Work'd Up ! | What on earth has happened to the BEST MINI site on the www! Im not on here much anymore, and read a thread today in OTB about members going AWOL, small wonder why! Ive never used Mikey's services, but have read lots of his posts offering brilliant advice! Surely you (and you know who you are) should be looking after you 'bread and Butter' better ! I chose not to renew my privilege membership, and feel i chose wisely... I will stick to my local forums more and more fromnow on.. Shame on you for not treating people as human beings instead of a pay packet ![]() www.EssexMINI2.co.uk |

Offline | I can't believe it. Mike mate you've helped me on numerous occasions and I'd say by far your one of the most helpful people on this site. I'm proud to class you more as a friend now. I certainly know which 2 tuners bickering on here (I'm far from a fan of one of them who causes more arguements than most). They've caused what I feel is a ridiculous seperation of the forums, but it seems no one seems to take any notice anymore. Completly gutted. I'll continue to recommend people to you on here, albet that will no-doubt infringe some rules. Its a 'kin Joke ![]() I look forward to seeing you still at the lakes run and pub meets Take care of yourself mate, and the family! Better spending time with them rather than wasting your life on here trying to make it a decent place to visit ![]() ![]() |

Offline | real shame Mikey imho the response both it this thread and the poll about site use clearly indicate what the user want and expect from the forum. I've seen the narrow minded comercial approach over listening to members kill more than one club/forum. Stupid thing is that then kills the commercial side and everyone loses |
