These Sticky threads will be added to other forums as Supporting Vendors request exposure for their Product Announcements in the public forums.

I was wondering when one of the owners would come into the thread and give a response too, Martin No offense intended, Miniac, but you are only a Moderator not one of the owners, right?

Even if the owners only care about the pennies and the pounds, surely the strength of feeling and the points raised about Mikey's situation (and the direction the site is taking) should be of enough commerical conern for a personal response, no?

Talk about lose lose, this is a p.o.s.

Mikey, havent brought anything from you (yet ), but you have provided much advice free.

Mini2 loses bigtime through this, well done mods.

The fact apart from a couple of idiot vendors (1 more so than another IMO) who spat there dummys out, it wasn't broken in the first place so why fix it.

Mikey has worked on all 3 of my MINI's. I would not take my car, any car, to anyone other than Mikey. He like Woodmans BMW is far from the nearest place for me to go, but I drive 50 miles to see him when I've needed work doing on my car.

I haven't spent anywhere near as much money as other people on here with him, but I know from the work he has done on my car I would not take my car anywhere else. He has helped countless people countless times, and its people like him that make MINI2 what it is!

MINI2 should be thankful for people like him, because its people like him that made this Site what it used to be (I won't say what it is because its gone down the pan). Its people like him that would make it as good as it was.

Yes Moderators do a thankless task but some of you quite literally work like a machine at times with the things you do, say etc. Others have a much better understanding, Aiden and Rakey for example, albet I would not agree at times.

Not wanting to take a personal attack on you MINIAC, and knowing the excellent work on the FAQ's you've done aswell as constantly editing peoples posts to thumbnails, but at times you are just a Machine in how you work on here.

More so lately this place has become a machine. I can only assume the mods now have a strict set of guidelines to follow. This place just ain't fun no more since Paul left, he wasn't perfect but thats the way we loved him

Mikey, this really is bad news that you are leaving. I have not spent £££'s with you, nor have I been down to Formby to have an install done on my car so you wont know me personally. You have however supplied me with a few bulbs and some clear indicator lenses over the year I have owned my car. The service was fantastic and puts some of the bigger companies to shame.

You advice on here is always spot on, and is a major contribution to the MINI community, not just the MINI2 community. I always enjoy reading your reports about stripping down various MINI's, they are rather interesting, and the positive remarks from new and previous customers is a testament to your awesome work.

It is for these reasons that my car displays the newministuff.com web address on both the rear side windows, and not the address of any other 'vendors'.

Good luck if you don't stay around. But please keep us informed about the Lakes run, because I'm dying to come on that this summer.

I knew the heart and sole of the place wasn't here any longer, but its seems that brain death has now kicked into MINI2 as it certainly isn't thinking straight if it is making its number one user feel like his support and opinion is no longer valued

Mikey, if this isn't resolved, and you go elsewhere other than a rather good Irish MINI forum I know, please be sure to let me know, as there is no-one else mate that I would trust to get advice and MINI ICE items from

well said martin

this place has really gone to the dogs since the change mikey has supplied me a few bits over the years but most of all has been there to bail us out the crap when things go wrong

his is a major asset to the mini comunity and this forum the place wont be the same without you mate

take care mike and i hope you have a happy life with your family

Can't say I blame you mate, if I hadn't had my boots stolen off me for no good reason then I'd be thinking the same, why put yourself on the line for a machine where everyone is a penny/pound/number

Question How to complain ?

I have found this http://www.mini2.com/forum/sendmessage.php but dont know if it will do any good ... is it worth a try sending a msg of concern about the way the site is being run, neglected, modded & support for Mikey etc ?

Hope we (forums are about the members right ?) can sort this out ...

Well none of the human ones that realise at times you need to question the rules and regulations, as users are people and the site was a community built by the people. Now its just turning into a website, a uniformed machine

Just wanted to say thanks to Mike for the many informative posts which I have found very useful since becoming a MINI owner, it is people like you that make this site so fantastic. I hope to be making use of your highly recommend services soon by treating my MCS to some ICE goodies!

Cheers, Rich.
