| I guess this issue is something many of us feared but really really hoped would never happen when the site was bought This place wouldn't be the same site without Mikey and his unwavering support both financial and in the valuable advice he gives for free - at the end of the day no money can buy that advice or experience.... Then again it wouldn't be the same without many of the mods or users. The longer this goes on the less faith I have in the owners to do the right thing and fix issues how ever large or small, I really hope that something is worked out for Mikey, I really do. I hope the site owners take stock and fix this the right way.... You're a top bloke Mikey, I hope the beer is numbing the bad thoughts a little tonight and I know there'll always be a huge amount of support for you and newministuff, every bit you deserve  |

 My MINI experience would have been so much less without MINI2, spurred by my first dealings with Mike. Mike's incredible customer focus is inspiring, and is testament to the ethos of an owner's club. Mike IS MINI2, as much as Paul Mullett or Bob Southgate. Without such characters, MINI2 will become just another forum, rather than THE forum. The new owners should listen to us MINI owners and fix this. Mike is not just a vendor, he's the life blood. Change is good, but only if it's for the better. |

| Just noticed something......................... Have a look at the date when most of the posters to the thread joined MINI2. They are long time supporters of the site, and things like this may mean the site would lose the people that helped to make it what it is, and have been using it for years. |

| I am shocked and saddened that this is happening, I got Mikey to upgrade my stereo and love what he did. I am very disappointed in the forum moderetors etc if they are driving people that contribute as much as Mikey away... like I said shocking ! Still I am on newminiscotland so I can at least keep up to date with mikey's developments... |

| Very sad news Always very helpful and always available to provide advice. Looks as if MINI2 is losing the 'independent' aspect. Thats a real shame in itself. On another note, i must have had my head in the sand, MINI2 was sold? when? so paul has now taken a step (or steps back!)? Back on topic - Mikey, thanks for all your help and all the best for the future.  |
