I haven't bought anything from Mike, but I do remember him sending me an email and posting a few replies to my questions I had on my ipod connector....and it was much appreciated.
If Mike goes, I go.....
Then again we could all stop using this site for a few days.

The atmosphere has changed here recently, and I think that is what will drive people away.

I have to say I visit here a lot less than I used to.

How many people are posting in this thread? There are thousands of people on here.

Like i say we are all numbers and a small group of people boycotting a site for a few days won't have any effect at all

It would be like a small group of Manchester United supporters not happy with prices of burgers not going to Old Trafford. No real effect?

Unfortunately it is the same here. Mikeythemini will leave, forum members may miss him and his knowledge/skills/advice, and follow suit but the organisation won't. They'll always have someone else coming along to pay to be a sponsor and have new members joining up daily.

But in reality this isnt a business, this is a community that happens to have become profitable. And if the community isnt benefiting from this then questions should be asked. And if this place is becoming company over community then I'm sure a few more people will be off too!

New to this forum and have never bought anything from Mikey but from reading through the posts you can tell that he is one of the cornerstones of the forum!

Forums are for the users, the people that own the cars and contribute! I think this is disgusting behaviour but unfortunately these moderator machines will ony learn if the profits drop!!

Don't they understand that despite adding value (and money to line their pockets) without people like mikey these forums become ghost towns!!

Mikey! 'Tis a great shame to see you go! Your presence on this forum was quite obvious when I 1st joined up and it's just grown in leaps and bounds. Was nice to meet you at Bingley this year, hope this doesn't affect your business too much! Although I'm sure the odd Veyron install will cover any extra costs incurred
