| So, who makes it? I know this topic has been discussed, but I can't find an existing thread to latch onto and I was amused by this (almost scripted) conversation. I pull up to a toll booth in my brand-spanking-new MCS. Toll booth worker does a double take, composes herself reads my ticket and asks for the toll. She meekly asks..."That's a nice car. What is it?" "Thanks, it's a MINI Cooper," I respond, handing her some spare change. "I never heard of it. Who makes it?" "MI...um...BMW," I say, thinking better of going down the MINI-is-a-brand-not-just-a-size route. "Oh. I never heard of it before." I just had to laugh and look around for the cameras.
