hi, i have just purchased some chrome side light indicator covers from ebay.

i am told they just clip off. how do i remove them and fit the new ones. does the light come off too.

R56 MINI?

If so, you might have got the same ones as me.
I'm normally clumsy as owt, but even I managed this.

Open the bonnet and slide the old unit towards front of car - it should unclip really easily. Carefully pull the unit away from car (wires will still be attached). Look at what goes where and re-wire (push on connectors). Slide new unit back into position, remembering to close bonnet before driving away!

Double check that the indicators are working if you want.

Might be a similar arrangement for 1st Gen MINIs.
