Online | Handsfree isn't that safe. If you have an accident, and it doesn't have to be your fault, and they find out you were on hands free you could still get nobbled for undue care and attention. Thats why most firms say no phones nowadays. |

Offline | Read this story and I doubt you will ever use your mobile phone while driving again. The results of this tragic crash were also shown on the BBC Traffic Police series............. Lorry driver on phone runs into back of Peugeot 206 on the M3 |

Online | I think that using a phone whilst driving, particularly hand held is far more dangerous than speeding. The accident statistics confirm that lack of attention is a major cause of accidents. Yet all we get is more speed cameras. |

Offline | Washing the car earlier and spotted this numpty driving out of my road on his mobile. It's a cul-de-sac so must have just pulled away down the road. If the call was that important, WHY couldn't here just take the call before he pulled out of his drive. And then 10 mins later he came back and was STILL on the phone .Some people are just so important they have to take that call . |

| having fun or hungover... | New policy we have been mandated with by work is no calls when driving even hands free! But doing 40,000 miles a year covering the north, keeping the phone off and taking time out to answer messages etc just isn't workable! New Policy was issued saying use it but only when you have to and take extra extra care! ![]() |
