Hands Free or Face The Fine!

On Monday of this week I received my first points in over 6 years of careful driving. I’m gutted as you can guess but the law is the law.
So this is just a quick reminder to anyone out there looking at getting a new car, or maybe looking for their next mod, GET BLUETOOTH.
My ignorance has cost me £60 and 3 points; it could be you next time.
(I got the points in my 206hdi)

Glad my car's previous owner specced the brilliant bluetooth then!!

My friend also got got this week. Must be a proper clamp down and to be honest I am glad, as I see quite a few people on the phone while driving which is straight out dangerous. I saw a builder at the wheel of his work lorry on the phone that lorry must have weighed 3 tons! Loosing control of that would be very damaging.

I got a parrot evo bluetooth kit added when I got Mikey to upgrade the stereo...works brilliantly, and works with buttons on steering wheel also.

One question popey, you are genuinely saying you had never ever ever heard about it being against the law ??? I thought everyone knew and just choose to ignore it.

Yeah I got caught before you law changed and was fined £30.00 no points thankfully. So I then booked in straight away for the Parrot Evo kit at newministuff. Rather pay mikey some money than the government!

Phew MINI is off the hook then

When work told me not to use phone in car (not even hands free), I started driving more safely and I saved a lot of money on phone bills, because most of my calls were because I got bored of sitting in traffic.

I wish they had a law to enforce hands free use here in Canada. It gets talked about a lot, but nothing is ever done about it.

You peeps wouldn't believe the nasty traffice we deal with here as people are either talking on the phone or even texting whilst driving...

The worst that will happen is that they'll get an "undue care and attention" citation *after* they've caused an accident.

Any way to hook up two phones to the same system? I have a personal one and a work one. Its a pain having to grab the correct BT headset.

Divert the work one to your personal one, that's what I used to do. Couldn't get my headest paired with 2 devices.

Parrot like most blue tooth systems will allow up to 5 phones to be paired with it

but ONLY ONE AT A TIME
