Offline | Check the obvious like FSH and the TLC tickets were stamped. It will have the Midlands gearbox in which were replaced with the Getreg boxes in July 04 builds. My gearbox was replaced at 8k miles on my March 04 build Cooper and still whined afterwards!. If your buying from a BMW Dealer ask that they print out any warranty work done in the past. Have a look through the Faults and Fixes for the R50- R53, that will give you an idea of the problems that can occur for the year and model. If your buyer from a dealer you will no doubt get some sort of warranty anyway. Have you had a *Good* look round for Cherished MINI's? HTH, they are great cars to drive ![]() Need to Order Very Soon...... |

Offline | Anything with batteries in her top draw. She wont be needing them anymore after she straps herself in an Mini ![]() Sorry couldn't resist. When I was young I spent 75% of my money on fast cars, women and alcohol. I guess I wasted the rest. |
