Having had a test drive on the 10th November, my wife ordered (& put down a deposit) a Clubman D on 19/11/07 - was told delivery might be end-December, possibly January. A week later, she was told delivery would be early February - she agreed, but specified that she wanted it by March 1st at latest. "Salesman" said he would keep in touch with her at least once a month to update her. He didn't!
This week, having heard absolutely zip, she finally agreed to ring him, to be told that delivery "might be" by March 17th. She went ballistic, whereupon he went to check, then rang back to say she might get it earlier - by March 10th - as it isn't going to be built until next week (20th Feb. or thereabouts). She then asked to speak to the manager, who (eventually) said he would do what he could to bring the date forward.

Anyone else been given the run-around like this, or have we just picked a crap dealer? - seems like some of you have had Clubman Ds since November.

been told 6 0r 7 th march dooper loaded orderd 1st dec .seems like years ago .

sounds like a very poor dealer - next time visit Woodmans or Wollastons who are sponsors here and do a great job

Sounds like you should ditch them. What appalling service!! My salesman rang me up 3 days after deposit to confirm a delivery date

I saw my MINI today!!!

I only got one pic cos i couldn't get inside!
Still needs black bonnet stripes, black checks and a black cooper S grill! so excited only two weeks to go!!!

I will post more pics when i pick it up! also does anybody know what the chrome circle bits on the lights are?

Do you mean the chrome half circles?? If so, they are the headlight washers

Not sure when mines now coming, i bought my new mini middle of jan, sales guys told me delivery on 1st of March, however after contacting them today to confirm number plate etc, they tell me that the car is still being built.... Is this normal, and is my 1st March Delivery date going to pass with me not getting my car??

If your car is already in production then I think there is a good chance you can get it on 1st March. My car was at the dealership 10 days from the day it went into production at the factory.
