I ordered mine on Feb 15th and was lucky that the spec i wanted was unbought and on its way to me in Sydney... i struggle every day as i see mini's and get restless

mine is a laser blue cooper S chilli with JCW tuning Kit, stripes, sunroof, chrome mirrors / interior/ exterior and black leather

Nope, and i'm not impressed. I ordered my MINI back in Jan, for a delivery date of 1st March.. I was told that a few weeks ago, the mini was on schedule and that was all okay.

I'm not happy... Should i complain to BMW??

MINI have given me a loan car until mine's is ready, but as i'm sure you can imagine... it's not good enough...

mines coming on the 27th March. but in Oz we don;t get different start letters. I'm keeping my number plates that say MINI

I think you should go and in and tell them you want to cancel your order. Were you not given a build date week when you ordered? 3 days after ordering I was told exactly which week my car would go into production.

Cancelling the order's a bit OTT but if you really are that p!ssed off then at least threaten to.

Try and negotiate some more goodies on handover. You're in a good position, they promised you a March 1st handover and now going back on their word. Definately complain though, hopefully the manager (if he's any good), will tell his team to pull their fingers out.

At least they've given you a loaner!

I heard my build date exactly two weeks after I made the order and have been given the delivery date as well. However, I was warned it could adjust from a week early to a week later depending on other circumstances. I can only guess I'll get it earlier. I guess it's normal for them to place 4 weeks after the start of the production date for the delivery date?

God I hope mine does as well! The dealer was desperate to get my sale before the end of March so it's another +1 in their quarterly figures (as told by the sales manager!)

ahh well no mini for me on 1st, but i have just been to collect a "loan" mini until mines is ready.. So even though i'm really not happy with the outcome, i guess i cant grumble.. They have given me the loan car, and the estimated time of delivery is now 1 week after the 1st of March.. So hey 11 days for me... lol
