Anyone getting theirs delivered the day before on a truck or trade plates?


I will be collecting my new Cooper D (its been a long wait since I ordered it on Sept 15th!!)

My order went in too late for my MCS on 1st March dead on! It's due for week 14 (mid-april) but they've flagged it as urgent so might get it mid-march . Got no idea as of yet but not long to go for you guys and girls .

The dealer rang me last Friday to say my new Mini Cooper S has come in. (I ordered it Christmas Eve) She looks stunning - sparkling silver, black roof and panoramic sunroof. Went to see her this pm! Can't wait for 5th March - they won't deliver on Sat 1st March as this is their 'busy' day. I have to wait until my half day off......
Now I have to decide whether to accept a horrible number plate or go for a DVLA one that slightly resembles my name or could be a corny one like S22 COO..... Dealer ones all start with GU08 - very gooey!!!!

Yep, I'm booked in at the dealership for 8am on March 1st. Got a Mellow Yellow 'S' with various JCW bits (performance kit, aero kit, gearknob) and a load of other options waiting for me. Order was placed in first week of January.

Picking my astro black mcs with aero kit up on March 1st....yet to decide on a time....the dealership is due to receive the car in the coming week but will not go and get a sneak peak until they have fitted the aero kit.

I would have liked the car delivered on the 29th Feb but the dealership dont have any transporters coming my way and dont really want someone else to put the first 150 miles onto my brand new motor!

ok so i was simply unable to wait! so iv just got back from the dealership and thus the car hasn't got the aero kit on it yet being fitted 2mro......cannot wait to collect it on March 1st!!!!! im just soooo pleased!!!!! i still have the biggest grin on my face!!!!!! please feel free to comment on the minimal pics so far!

Very nice! All these pictures are making me more and more excited! I only barely put in the order for my MCS in Astro Black with the JCW Kit two weeks ago . Mine is due week 14 (mid april) but as it's flagged urgent, I may get it 2-3 weeks before! Lets hope!

What's your final spec on it?

I am planning on ordering the JCW Carbon Spoiler as a seperate item not to go on my finance deal as I personally think that it's the dogs-nads! I may also swap the Crown alloys in Part Ex. for the top of the range R109 10 Spoke JCW Light alloys that are just over £2,000! Definately worth those IMO to go on with the JCW Aero kit.

I cannot believe how long you've waited! If I'd been waiting since September, I would of died because of the wait by now, let alone 8 weeks!
