United-Kingdom bluefin advice - does it affect fuel??

hi,

i have had my mini one since i passed my driving test in november, and so i am after making it a little bit quicker, im told that the bluefin chip is the way to go, but i was just wondering from anyone that has had it done, has it majorly influenced how much fuel they use?
also whats the impact on the insurance??

Cheers Lewis.

It can give you better MPG, providing you dont floor it. It didnt on my old ONE though, probably due to the fact I liked the extra power

Probably the best £299 ive ever spent

yeah it is in my mod list as well but i cant get it atm. I have spent too much money recently on wheels and springs and i am stil spending.

MPG may increase yes and insurance wise, it is classed as performance so i would say it would.

Prob is untraceable but I would never take that risk
