Mini's Birthday

Hi, just a quickie,
How do you tell the exact date of production on your Mini, would be nice to know when it was born.
Have found a sticker on the loom in the engine bay, that gave a date but wether it was the build date for the car I am unsure
My car was from dealers stock so dont know its birthday.

I personally thought that there was a sicker on the drivers side just under the bonnet for the build date - my S has one

Surely you can work back from V5 reg date or build date - I wouldn't know how to find the exact day/date

This would only apply if your the first or possibly second owner but you didnt mention that

Thats just my thought may be wrong as i am no car mechanic (i have my bruv for that!!)& a fairly new mini owner (Just over a year)

there is a sticker on the strut (passenger side) that does say "built oct 2007" but i would like to know what date in October, as for the v5 we bought the car new, so just says the date we bought it / registered it

My current MINI ONE was built on 01/03/06

My new Cooper D (yet to be collected) was built on 08/01/08

I have the build sheet for both of them
