DIY Mod Question

Hi, im new to the forum. I have a cooper 02, and i was in the mind of modding the car. Its got a lot of features already in the car, auto air con, heated leather panther seats, panaromic sunroof, chrome exterior, black with white stripes. But the interior does not look as nice as the newer models. I was wondering can i
- change my multi-functional steering wheel to a newer model?
- is it possible to add change the speedometer dial to a newer one with a sat nav screen in there, like the r57 cooper s has?

Sorry if i sound like a noob, but i am new to the forum and new to modding.

thank you.

Hello and welcome to MINI2.

You can change the Steering wheel to a newer model but you cant fit the Sat Nav in there, well im lying you can but it will cost LOTS and LOTS of money and it just would not be worth it at all!

I rang up mini last year, and they said you cant change the steering wheel because i had multi-function steering wheel. i think they said that because i wouldnt buy a new mini and i just wanted a modification. I find Synther Leicester very unhelpful, whilst other mini's garages are much more friendly.

has anyone seen the site where they offer you a service to add some lights to your door handle so there is a glow when you unlock your car?

p.s. where can i get the new steering wheel from?
