Offline | windows & roof down on their own ??? Hi there. I own a Mini Cooper Convertible and have a puzzling problem...... I came out to my car in the morning when the weather was extremely cold (approx -5) only to find that all my windows (both front main ones and the smaller back two) were down and the roof also half retracted. I was puzzled and worried. Has anyone else enperienced this??? Is this anything to do with the cold weather maybe having and effect on the electrics??? I'm new to this forum game so hopefully I've done this correctly and someone can help me out. Many thanks... |

Offline | Eeek! How strange! I'm not sure what may have caused it, but a similar thing happened with a friends convertible (I'm not sure if it was a Beemer or not) excpet it was raining all night! The whole car was pretty much a swimming pool by the time he got up to go to work. It was covered under guarantee though so he was fortunate. I'd call the dealership you bought it from (if you can) and get them to have a look. The last thing you want is for it to rain if it happens again!! |
