Thanks for all the comments and advice.

Having considered the above, my friend has now spoken with the dealer again and I understand they have come to a mutual agreement. She is going in on Thursday to pay the balance and then again on Friday to inspect and collect the car. Stratstone will then drive it on trade plates to her home with her in attendance. Just for interest, apparently they have 40 minis to handover for the 1st March!

Due to the intererst and the response received on this forum, we may just have a new Mini2er joining the fold shortly!
