Hi all

I have had the black cooper s r56 for about two months so just running the car in at the moment. Just taken the car down the Guildford for a spin with the sport button turned on. If you punch the car say keep it in fourth and accelerate with your foot to the floor. Wow its fast. The amount of power the car has is incredible. So much btter than the previous car with the supercharger. The r56 feels smoother and more planted at the top end compared to the other car. Definately an amazing improvement.

Hope the old bill are not watching the thread - the guy who bragged about 130 got caught and done last week - too right.

I am no angel but speed in the right places - public road in Germany or private road / track in UK

I wouldnt brag about it either, plain stupid!

Someone a few of us know was killed in a horrific car accident on Thursday night, and it really brings home to you how dangerous the roads are and how accidents can happen to absolutly anybody!

Think about what could happen if you lost control for any reason, think of the people you could/would hurt, think of the people that would be left behind! But most of all dont brag about it on an open forum.

lorrys and caravans can only go 60mph and they can go in the middle lane!!!!!!!

To be honest Woody you are not going to find many users on here who will congratulate you on doing a ton on the motorway. I know you're loving your new R56 S, but if you keep that kind of speed up you'll have your licence taken off you.

I totally disagree, when you buy a high performance car you normally do give it a bit of welly on the motorway. As I said I did'nt fly down the motorway at 100mph the whole way just to overtake. I don't have to do that everytime. To an extent you have to see what the car can do. Everyone guy does that otherwise your like a woman who books holidays.
