hi mates, here something a friend is realising with his cooper s convertible: the result will be awesome

the complete mini is going to be covered in white vinyl, what do you think??

There's a company local to me that does fully body vinyl wraps for MINIs.

Their Chili Red MINI ONE demonstrator has been white, black and blue with different patterns too.

Wouldn't it have been easier to buy a white MINI and vinyl wrap the rest?? not really my taste but each to their own!

hi jamie, we are not talking about "pepper white"
1. he wants a real white mini
2. with vinyl, because, when he cannot see that any longer, he just tears it off
3. it is like a protection for the original colour

but what counts most - he just wanted to do something new.

the complete project includes complete equipment in leather (door panels, dashboard etc.)
changing of the overroll bar (the original will be replaced with one of the bmw 3 series convertible, which switches out automatically in emergency case, so that the original overroll bar is not to see...)

i think it is a cool project. We will see the result!!

imho vinyl wraps are great, protects your paint and when you get bored you can change easily

whats it cost though?

I think what he has done is superb! I wish BMW would allow you to choose the colour of your paint as a cost option like Audi.

Thats pretty cool, are those arches vinyl wrapped too?

Whats the process of actually doing this, is it heated or anything. Ive never read anything about vinyl wrapping.
