Hi there,

well i have been lurking on the forum for 10 days now, i didnt think i should post as i hadnt officially got my mini yet, but after picking "robert" up yesterday i dont feel so bad

he is a 2003 MCS works he was a bit boring looking so i have in the space of a day managed to tart him up a bit, and now i'm really smitten!!

Wow you put on a Aero kit, wheels and bonnet stripes in a day! Impressive work! Looks absolutely great! Congrats and welcome!

As a fellow Chilli Red Owner i love your mini, in Particulary the aero kit. Really makes a difference.

I aggree you need a black or red roof to finish it off

Thats a lot of work, I have owned mine for a year & haven't even finished the aero kit yet!! I did the chrome dials & alloys first But not so much work as you

hi guys,

thanks for being so friendly!

well i had to wait 7 days before i picked the car up, so i spent all the time on mini2 and every other site trying to figure out how i could make him look better.

the roof is being sprayed black tommorow, and i'm on the hunt for r56 works seats and carbon trims/dash

i also need to remove the old ICE install from my last car (renault clio v6 mk2) and slot it into the mini,

then once the clio is sold i think robert is going to GTT for a GT220 with stage 4 head, shrick cams, Fuel pump, flywheel clutch and quaiffe differential, after having spoken to roland this should make a good base for a GT280qt turbo conversion ,

so i guess you could say i have the bug well and truly!!

(ps just fitted GTT Porsche big brake conversion and spiroslot rears today, its great!!)
