Offline | 230-260 miles in Cooper S, town driving and traffic mostly. Have got 300miles on Motorway driving in an 06 S. Spending £15-20 more on petrol per week than my 06 Cooper. |

| MINI2 Regular | Filled up today and the car said a range of 360, finished the 20 mile journey home - clear roads with an average of 39.2mpg (most impressive figure ive ever had). However combined with my short drive to work at a crawl the last tank averaged 27ish mpg. So it varies a huge amount depending on how and where you drive. Car is a supercharged cooper s. |

Offline | Normally for me I would get about 240-300 miles out of a tank but I dont do motorway driving, it is all in towns and shortish journeys. The one week when I had to drive on motorways alot and had to do longer drives I actually got 390 miles out of a tank. ![]() Last edited by Darthbladerni : Mar 9th, 2008 at 06:22 PM. Offline | I've managed 420 miles on a tank with a R56 Cooper S (average speed of around 45mph) and was an average of cruising at 70mph on motorways, dual carriage ways etc, urban driving including traffic (although with auto start/stop this is less of an issue), and plenty of full throttle in 1st/2nd/3rd (although within legal limits of course!). ![]() |

Offline | Been taking it easy this week, (not normal Madmax McCrae style) Sitting with around 230miles from this tank with a range of 60miles left. Gone from 23mpg up to 27MPG plus back on Super unleaded for the last 2 fill ups. |
