Offline | Dealership just sell Second hand Mini’s that have been traded in at there dealership? Hi does the Dealership just sell Second hand Mini’s that have been traded in at there dealership or as there all part of the same chain do they have a mini pool. Just asking as I’m after a Mini cooper or cooper D but have my heart set on Lightning Blue Roof&Mirror Caps in Black Black Bonnet Stripes I’d hate to think that there is my near perfect car sitting about down south on a forecourt and I’m missing it due to covering only Scotland. Could you ask for the dealership to watch out for this Combo or is that too much to ask?The spot on car would be! Offline | Why don't you do a national search on MINI - HOME ? Given the money you'll pay, it might be worth travelling to another dealership (even if it is several hundred miles away) to get the car you want. Its warranty and servicing will still be valid at your local dealer. Good luck. |

Offline | Dealerships owned by groups such as Stratstone/Pendragon have a wider range of cars as they can pull in from another one of their showrooms ![]() In theory though, theres no real reason to stop one dealership getting a car from another even if they are not linked in anyway. They might not like it or be happy doing it, but theres no harm in asking ![]() |

Offline | I think it would be worth your while just buying a brand new one and specify everything you want on it? Just because used Cooper Ds/ex demos are still very highly priced, you could probably get a brand new one with exactly what you want for about 1k more Just a thought.. ![]() |

Offline | Yeah you know I just really found the national search thing there and locked down the colour scheme…..Not a problem travelling for the right car as I went down to Pudsey out side Leeds for a Porsche. No harm to my local dealer in Giffnock but their stock is limited and for some reason over loaded with convertibles. I know building a car, the exact one makes sense but the car above comes in at over 18K which I’m never going to spend on a mini. I set my limit of 14K plus my trade in of £1000-2000 on our older second car, it might have been different if I was buying the car by HP/ Bank loan but I’m not. So happy to get close and not go over my limit as any more money and I think I’d be looking for something else. I know people love there cars and don’t flinch at 18-22K but that sort of cash for what I see as an everyday car brings me back to my reality. Found this one below 300 miles away, honest if it was a respectable £14000-£15000 I would buy it but there just seems to be that tipping point. I’ll have to accept that the D’s are too new and need to loose some value.
