Offline | in for a service....out with a new car(well ordered anyway) So..... March 07 ordered a lovely Cooper D - specced upto the max and took delivery end of April and had a nice year (well 11 months) of driving . Service number 2 booked for Friday last week..... given that i have done 25000 miles since April 07 Decide to pop into the showroom and have a look whats new.....One thing leads to another......before i know it im out test driving a clubman and then speccing one up...... now im not usually so rash but........ after a lot of negotiating and bargaining....... Signed the dotted line for a Clubman D.! ![]() At this point phone partner ....... who knows what ive done as soon as i say "your going to kill me" ![]() New Spec is Lightning Blue and Silver ![]() 17" web spokes (didnt pay for these as part of the deal) Internal in Pacific blue and fluid silver Chilli pack Bi Xenons Blue Tooth/USB Upgrade sound Vis Pack Heated jets and mirrors Heated Seats Auto air con Sport Button multi function steering wheel Front Spots(£48 as part of bartering) Reverse sensors (im not good at reversing!) White Lenses Dark glass Anthracite roof lining Anyway - partner calmed down now....... delivery maybe as soon as end of March - but likely to be 2nd week april. Will find out Monday. Offline | Great spec! I took a R50 Cooper in to be serviced last October (first one outside of the TLC) and wasn't thinking about getting a new MINI at all. I was given a R56 MCS courtesy car for the day, and realised that my days in the R50 were suddenly numbered. By the end of November I had a new MCS all for myself! |
