Offline | Correct To my dismay and amazement the dealers were not provided with software capable of programming all the neat things the car is able to do. I am told they will have new software sometime this fall?? |

| MINI2 Master (Oh Wow!) | That's crazy! It's a piece of software for mini's sake! The dealer should get it down the phone line! Thats like a butcher who has no knives to cut his meat! Or a baker who has no icing for his cakes! ALex. ![]() Black and White Cooper here, soon to be an Electric Blue & White S, with the WORKS!! |

Offline | Not all dealers, some Its an issue of some dealers, not all. I realize this makes even less sense, but Classic for instance didn't know how to program DRL's when I went in in May, but "figured" it out sometime in June. They just recently figured out comfort opening, but it involves a call to BMW support. I'd call around, maybe some other dealers in the area can do it. I doubt they're lying to you, its just one of those weird things that really should get fixed, but probably won't since its indicative of a deeper organizational problem. -Alan Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |
