| I am not a number!! | Got to agree, the Ka is a great little car, as safe as is needed, if driven within its own limits, at the end of the day it won't drive like a MINI so shouldn't be pushed as hard as a MINI ![]() But glad to hear that the driver is alive to drive another day, and might hopefully learn to take it a bit easier according the vehicle and road conditions. I didn't mean it ![]() |

| Dales run passenger! | The standard KA is OK - Just runs out of grip way to quickly, which sounds like what probably happened here. My MK6 Fiesta is a very good car to drive - Just rolls/runs out of grip a little quicker than the Mini, not bad for a mass-produced car for so little money. Wishing you once again a speedy recovery 5meodmt ![]() |

Offline | sorry the following is slightly graphic and scary..!! well just when i thought i was on the mend, i started feeling dodgy last Saturday, well after 2 visits to docs whom didnt seem concerned (GP and NHS24) and then feeling extremely faint and my stools turning v black, i got rushed to hospital on Wednesday with serious internal bleeding due to side effect from one of the 3 pain killers i was perscribed to cope with the pain ![]() well after my heart was stop/started 3 times by A&E and various tests, tube down throat and some minor surgery, i eventually got 4 pints of blood & 7 bottles of omeprazole through IV i got released this afternoon, how f-ing scary im in bits!! well boys and girls if you get perscribed diclofenac and have to take it for a extended period to cope with pain, read the warning leaflet it may save your life! christ my doc even said 1 day before i phoned the ambulance "ahh just stop them for a couple of days then start them again" , great advise! more time off work!! i cant take aspirn or ibroprofen ever again, and im now on omeprazole for life! take care all!! |

Offline | That must have been terrifying for you. Diclofenac is a heavily prescribed medication, not one for me from now on. Hope you are feeling better and recover quickly. |
