MINI2

Hi everyone. I'm Tim and I picked up my '52 plate MCS yesterday from Sytner High Wycombe. It's my first BMW Mini, my first car was a 1986 Austin Mini which i still own and I PX'd a 1991 MR2 for the MINI. Here's a quick spec list for you:

Black II Body and Roof
Blue/Black Cloth/Leather
54k on the clock
DSC
Heated Mirrors and washerjets
"Darkened Glass"
Xenons with washers
Trip Computer
BOOST radio with 6 Disc Changer

V. nice MCS, great spec. Welcome. I'm a newbie myself and Wycombe is my closest Sytner. I've still got 2 weeks or so until I can collect my 03 MCS from Sytner.

Wish I still had my first car, a 1969 VW Beetle. How come you managed to keep hold of the Mini?

I collected my 55 Pw Cooper S Convertible on Saturday - from Specialist Cars Stevenage. Wycombe Sytner are my closest dealer but they didn't have the colour I wanted. Your spec looks great and I will look out for you!

I too owned an original mini many years ago and that was white also but I recall the seats being red vinyl!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes guys. Hopefully the weather will improve tomorrow so i can get the powerwash and polish out and be able to take some decent pictures of her. The 60 miles back up the M1 from high wycombe in the rain, slush and snow has left her looking less than her best. In the mean time heres a picture of my Classic mini before the resto started:

Big welcome to you. I just picked up a convertible mini cooper S from Sytner in Sunningdale and they were great to deal with.
Love the look of your car, congrats (im desperate to wax mine too but this weather is working against us
