I've just been thinking about the coolest thing on my new MINI....just wondering what everyone elses coolest thing was. If you had to choose just one thing about you MINI what could you NOT live without?

MINE: I just love the fact that I can use my key outside in the door to close/roll-up all the windows and shut the sunroof.

My VW New Beetle does that.

I like the head air bags, but I hope to never fully appreciate them!

And, I really like the wide selection of color combinations! One thing that puzzles me is that you can order BRG with a red interior, but not CR with green leather. ??

After a long day at work, I make my way out of the office to the setting sun...

and there, at the end of the parking lot, is Sherman my MINI, just grinning at me. Looks like I'll be taking the long route home again!

For the most part, the overall package is what makes it cool but for me the REALLY cool parts are the chrome inside and out, the 5-star silver 16" wheels of the Cooper sport package, the volume volume, the green fog lamp LED, big centre speedo and column-mounted tach, and especially (of all the silly small things to think are cool it may seem inconsequential but) I really dig the theatre-style dimming lights when entering and exciting the vehicle at night. Watching them dim when you lock the car is very cool. I could mention more things but then I'd be mentioning the whole car which kind of gets back to the package deal thang...

Looking at it and strapping myself into the Gravity leather seats brings me back 30 years! Once again, I am a determined young racing driver on a lightened Mini 1293 with an aluminum 8-port crossflow head zipping through the ranks of 2-liter Escorts, Alfa Romeos and BMWs in the tight corners!

What a wonderful time machine, this MINI Cooper S!

I agree with benggolf, the "time machine" factor is incredible. I also like the radio/cd controls on the MFSW.
Much to my surprise, I also really like the Xenon's, I came close to ordering my car without them when there was a shortage in June, I'm very happy that I waited.

The Xenons are slick........But the coolest thing about my mini is the way it makes me feel!

Dont think any other car could have brought a bigger smile to my face!!!And i mean any!!!

I love the radio controls on the back of the steering wheel. But for my money the toggle switches make the interior!

I think the coolest part of my MINI is the windshield. From the outside it looks like a normal piece of automotive glass, but from the inside, it alters the expression on people's faces.

I'm usually not an exhibitionist, but just taking a simple drive to the grocery store becomes an adventure.

I have never seen another car with the headlights integrated into the bonnet. That, IMO, is the coolest thing about MINI!
Check out page 21 to read the "Making Room for Romance in Your MINI" section of the Unauthorized MINI Manual". It offers advice on clever uses of these unique lights!

163 horsepower go-kart every day

I love passing a group of kids walking along the street. They still point and the boys usually yell "cool car" or something. My wife tells me I'm the coolest 10 year old on the block.

The coolest thing is going into a 25 mph curve at 65 mph and it doesn't even feel like you went through a curve !
Makes me grin big every time !
