Well, I was staying at my girlfriends parents over easter, and on Monday night decided to go and get a Chinese takeaway. Its in North Wales, on the way back looks like I've lost it on some mud from a local farm, hit a country wall and managed to flip my MCS and slid a bit down the road. Both me and my girlfriend were in the car at the time and somehow were both ok. All I have is a scorch mark on my hand, I think from the airbag inflating, and a cut on the other hand. And my girlfriend has aggravated an old compression fracture in her back from a riding injury.

Look at these pics and its a testament to these little cars. Yes, its a total write off and I am devastated because I loved that little car, but it saved both of our lives, and for that I can only be grateful

Glad you and your Girl Freind made it out safe and sound. with only minor injuries

From the pics looks like it could of been a lot worse, Once again the MINI has done well

Wow, looks like you were very very lucky to both get out of that one ok, well done MINI!

As ive learnt over the past week or so (couple of accidents you know how it is

) it really doesnt matter about the car, its whats inside that matters!

I never cease to be amazed how tough these cars are! Sorry to see the end of such a nice MINI, but glad you're both okay.

Blimey! Thats a scary sight! Glad to hear the you guys are alright! If I saw the car first I wouldn't be sure that you'd be OK.

How scarey for you both! I know how shaken up you must have been, I've had a bad accident before. However, the MINI has saved the day. I hope you can get another one with Insurance?
