Crazy '05 MCSJCW

Just browsing through PistonHeads and found this ex Mike Cooper MCSJCW

Mini : JCW Cooper S

What a lovely looking car - Probably one of the finest Mini's I have ever seen (bar the spoiler lets be honest) in almost 7 years.

The colour combo , interior/exterior with the R105s is THE best I've seen (despite me not being a fan of the chrome line interior)

Then I fell back down to earth when I had to consider how much it was

£25k for a Mini thats almost 3 years old, and clocked up 20k miles I know its an ex Mike Cooper car, but like the Simon Cowell Mini discussed here not so long ago, does it matter?

It really does have all the boxes ticked, and just a little bit more outside of the MINI box (cost £45k new ), but could you really justify spending that sort of money on a 3 year old car?

Lets face it, here are the alternatives

Mini : MINI COOPER S WORKS GP

MINI Cherished - Has most of the above for £10k less

Or if you fancy an R56, you could have a brand new one with many of the frills as seen above for similar money.

It does include one wicked plate though and what a spec.
Am I the only one who thinks its quite a reasonable price for the package?

Been pointed out before a while back, guess it's struggling to sell.

I have just spent 25k on a nearly new (600 miles) Jan 2008 S work with lots of trimmings was over 27k list. Many people thought i was mad but i love my car and will keep it for some years so why not!

This Mike Cooper mini is totallly unique and I would have been tempted to part with that amount of cash= looks mint inside and out!

Massively overpriced, and for what?! The fact you can tell people Mike Cooper owned it?! I'd rather save the cash and buy a more realistically priced one cheers!

We have a Land Rover Defender 90 XS which was bought by an actor from Heart Beat, it doesn't make it any different to all the other 90's on the road, and as such we paid the same price as we would have done if we bought one from joe soap.

Was a thread on here before about this, alot of custom bits of trimming on it, but still second hand a bit steeply priced.
